The first segment of this route would begin at the El Segundo Green Line Station and run north on Sepulveda Boulevard to the Howard Hughes Center, with stops at Mariposa, the LAX Bus Center, and Westchester (Manchester Ave) in between.
The second segment would run along a bus/carpool lane on the 405 between Howard Hughes and the 10. It would then take the eastbound 10 to the Overland Avenue exit. There would be no stops along this segment since this area is already served by local surface routes.
The third segment would run north on Overland, enter the Westwood Bus Tunnel, and exit the tunnel at Wilshire Boulevard to rejoin the 405. This segment would serve four of the five tunnel stations.
The fourth segment would run along a bus/carpool lane on the 405 from Wilshire Boulevard through the Sepulveda Pass to Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks with no stops along the way.
The fifth segment would run along Ventura Boulevard to Van Nuys, then north to the Van Nuys Orange Line station.

Olympic and Pico? Two stations?
For a busway, both Olympic and Pico makes sense. However, if this were a light rail project, I'd have only one.
How close will the Expo Line Westwood stop be to Pico? It seems that's a logical transfer point.
